39. You are the most important person in the Universe to you.

You have a mission here on Earth and that mission was chosen by you to help you grow spiritually. Other people can help you but no-one can do it for you. If they could it would do you a disservice as you would be deprived of the opportunity to learn what you came here to learn. In other words you would not be able to fulfil your mission. Therefore, you are the most important person in the Universe to you.

Many people put others before themselves, dedicating their lives to family, friends etc. This is fine if it is what you came to Earth to do but not so fine if putting others before yourself means that you have wasted the opportunity to complete your mission. It is therefore important to know what your mission is. If what you are doing feels right to you then you are probably on the correct track. If, however, you feel that you are in the wrong place or feel that you should be doing something else then you are not on the right track and a change of direction is called for.

Even if you did come to be of service to others, as many have, then it is still important to realise that your first loyalty must be to yourself. If you cannot be loyal to yourself to whom can you be truly loyal.
